UHMW Material:
UHMW is also known as UHMWPE, the full name is ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, and the English name is ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene.
Ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) is a linear structure of thermoplastic engineering plastics with excellent comprehensive properties. It is an unbranched linear polyethylene with a molecular weight of 1.5 million or more.
The molecular chain of UHMWPE fiber uses polyethylene as the basic structure. Polyethylene molecules are non-polar molecules and have no polar groups, which makes it difficult to chemically react with the substances in contact. The fiber has good corrosion resistance and chemical resistance. Performance: At the same time, after super-stretching, the internal structure of the fiber becomes denser and regular, so the crystallinity of UHMWPE fiber is relatively high, and the fiber has good resistance to high-energy radiation.
