The antibacterial alumina film impregnates the antibacterial component into the pores of the membrane and precipitates in the pores of the membrane, thereby imparting an antibacterial effect. It has long been known that metal ions such as silver, copper, and zinc have antibacterial action, and can be antibacterial by sealing with hot water containing these metal ions. Recently, the most important antibacterial substance is TiO2. TiO2 generates reactive oxygen species on the surface by the action of ultraviolet rays, and this reactive oxygen species exhibits an antibacterial effect. In addition to its antibacterial action, it also deodorizes, dust-proofs, and decomposes volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in the room. Therefore, it has developed a product that has antifouling properties by coating a surface of an aluminum building material. At present, mainly a method of coating a coating containing TiO2 is being developed, and a method of precipitating TiO2 in the pores of an anodized film is also being developed.
