Copper commonly used surface treatment processes are as follows.
1, copper bright cleaning: mainly copper surface stains, impurities, spots, oil stains and other dirt after thorough cleaning, restore the bright color of copper itself.
2, copper passivation: because copper is an active metal, in a humid or special environment, especially prone to oxidation of long spots, and even the phenomenon of copper green. Copper passivation can effectively protect the surface of copper parts.
3, Anodic oxidation: copper parts are used as anodes and electrolysis is used to form oxide films on their surfaces. The oxide film changes the surface state and properties, such as surface coloring, improve corrosion resistance, enhance wear resistance and hardness, and protect the surface of the copper parts.
4, Electroplating: The purpose of electroplating is to coat the copper substrate with a metallic coating that changes the surface properties or size of the copper substrate. Plating can enhance the corrosion resistance of copper, increase hardness, prevent wear, improve electrical conductivity, smoothness, heat resistance and surface aesthetics.
5, copper chemical polishing: the copper parts directly immersed in copper chemical polishing solution, so that it quickly reach a bright as new beautiful color, while quickly remove the surface oxides, the surface size will have a corresponding change, but can be artificially controlled. After the chemical polishing treatment of copper parts need to be passivated as soon as possible to prevent its oxidation and discoloration again
