CNC Brass Turning Parts

Our advanced CNC turning technology strives to ensure you get high quality machined parts. With professional CNC turning equipment and well-trained mechanics, you can be confident that every CNC turning part we offer is carefully crafted and thoroughly inspected.

Product Description

CNC brass turning parts are precision-engineered components used in a range of industries for their high durability, wear resistance, and superior electrical conductivity.

Brass is a metal alloy that is made up of copper and zinc and is known for its exceptional machinability and strength. They are commonly used in applications where high precision and tight tolerances are critical, such as in the aerospace, automotive, medical, and telecommunications industries.

One of the benefits is that they are customizable and can be designed to meet specific requirements. They are available in a wide range of shapes and sizes and can be modified to fit unique specifications. This ensures that the parts will fit perfectly and function optimally in their intended application.

In addition, they are resistant to corrosion, making them ideal for use in harsh or corrosive environments. They are also non-magnetic, which means they will not interfere with electronic or magnetic fields.

Product Feature

Brass, a metal alloy composed of copper and zinc, is widely used in a variety of applications due to its unique properties. Here are some features of brass, with detailed numerical and parameter specifications, listed in numerical order, compared to other types of brass alloys:

1. Strength:

Brass has a tensile strength of approximately 350-550 MPa, which is comparable to many grades of steel. It also has good impact resistance.

- Compared to other brass alloys: Naval brass, which contains additional elements such as aluminum and tin, has a higher tensile strength of around 600 MPa.

2. Hardness:

Depending on the exact composition, brass has a hardness of around 40-90 Brinell. This means it can be easily machined and formed into various shapes.

- Compared to other brass alloys: Cartridge brass, a specific type of brass used in ammunition casings, has a higher hardness of around 100-120 Brinell.

3. Corrosion resistance:

Brass is highly resistant to corrosion from both air and water, due to its zinc content. It also forms a protective oxide layer that further enhances its resistance.

- Compared to other brass alloys: Admiralty brass, which contains more zinc and smaller amounts of other elements such as iron and aluminum, has even higher corrosion resistance.

4. Electrical conductivity:

Brass has good electrical conductivity, making it useful for electrical and electronic applications. Its conductivity ranges from around 23-45 MS/m.

- Compared to other brass alloys: Phosphor bronze, a type of bronze alloy that contains additional elements such as tin and phosphorus, has a higher electrical conductivity of around 30-60 MS/m.

5. Appearance:

Brass has a distinctive golden-yellow color that is often valued for decorative purposes. It can also be easily polished to a high shine.

- Compared to other brass alloys: Red brass, which contains more copper and less zinc than regular brass, has a reddish tint that can be desirable for certain decorative applications.

Application

1. Plumbing Industry
CNC brass turning parts play a crucial role in the plumbing industry. From valves, couplings, and connectors to hose fittings, all are made using brass turning parts. The precise and accurate machining of these parts ensures that they fit flawlessly and function efficiently.

2. Construction Industry
The construction industry heavily relies on them for door handles, locks, and hinges. These parts offer excellent durability, resistance to wear, and an attractive appearance. Brass parts are also widely used in lighting fixtures, display fixtures, and furniture hardware.

3. Marine Industry
The marine industry requires sturdy and corrosion-resistant materials, and they are an excellent choice. Various parts of a ship, such as boat fittings, boat propellers, and steering systems, are made from brass turning parts.

4. Agricultural Industry
The agricultural industry requires parts that can withstand extreme temperatures and harsh environments. They are used in irrigation systems, fertilizer spreaders, and harvesters. These parts have excellent resistance to rust and corrosion, making them an ideal choice for the agricultural industry.

5. Food and Beverage Industry
The food and beverage industry requires parts that are easy to clean and non-toxic. CNC Brass Turning parts are used in food processing equipment, beverage dispensers, and brewing systems. These parts offer excellent resistance to bacteria growth and are safe for contact with food and beverages.
