CNC Stainless Steel Machining Parts

One of the primary requirements for CNC Stainless Steel machined components is dimensional accuracy. The dimensions need to be exact to ensure that the components fit precisely into the larger system they are being used in. This is especially important in the fields of aerospace and medical equipment where even a slight deviation can result in catastrophic consequences.
In addition to dimensional accuracy, components made from Stainless Steel are required to be corrosion-resistant. This is because they are often used in environments where they are exposed to corrosive substances like saltwater or chemicals. Stainless Steel is ideal in such applications because it is highly resistant to corrosion.

Product Description

CNC Stainless Steel Machining Parts are commonly used in a wide range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, medical, and many more. These parts are often used in applications that require high strength and durability, such as engine components, airplane parts, and medical equipment.

One of the most significant advantages is their ability to withstand high temperatures and harsh environmental conditions. These parts can be used in extremely cold or hot temperatures, making them ideal for use in a wide range of environments.

Moreover, they are highly customizable and can be tailored to suit specific requirements. CNC machines can produce parts in a variety of shapes and sizes, allowing manufacturers to create parts that perfectly match their customers' needs.

Product Feature

CNC Stainless Steel Machining Parts are widely-used products that are known for their exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and durability. There are various types of stainless steel available in the market, each with its own unique properties.

1. Type 304 Stainless Steel:

This is one of the most common types of stainless steel that is widely used in various applications. It contains around 18% chromium and 8% nickel, making it highly resistant to corrosion and oxidation. It also has a good strength-to-weight ratio and can withstand high temperatures up to 1700°F.

2. Type 316 Stainless Steel:

This is marine-grade stainless steel that contains higher amounts of chromium and nickel than Type 304 stainless steel. It has excellent corrosion resistance and can withstand exposure to seawater, acidic and alkaline solutions, and even chlorides. Type 316 stainless steel is also non-magnetic and has a higher melting point than Type 304 stainless steel.

3. Type 409 Stainless Steel:

This is ferritic stainless steel that contains a low amount of chromium. It is known for its excellent corrosion resistance and toughness, making it ideal for automotive exhaust systems, catalytic converters, and other high-temperature applications. Type 409 stainless steel can withstand temperatures up to 1350°F.

4. Type 430 Stainless Steel:

This is a basic ferritic stainless steel that contains 17% chromium and even lower amounts of nickel and molybdenum. It is widely used for applications that require good corrosion resistance but not high strength. Type 430 stainless steel is also magnetic, making it ideal for use in decorative and architectural applications.

5. Type 2205 Duplex Stainless Steel:

This is highly corrosion-resistant stainless steel that contains both austenitic and ferritic phases. It offers greater strength, toughness, and durability over traditional austenitic stainless steel. Type 2205 duplex stainless steel is also highly resistant to chloride stress corrosion cracking, making it the perfect material for chemical plants, oil refineries, and other corrosive environments.
