1. High Temperature Resistance:
PEEK plastic exhibits exceptional heat resistance, with a melting point of approximately 343°C (649°F) and a glass transition temperature of around 143°C (289°F). It can withstand continuous use at temperatures up to 260°C (500°F) without significant loss of mechanical properties.

 

2. Mechanical Strength:
PEEK possesses impressive mechanical properties, including high tensile strength of up to 100 MPa (14,500 psi) and a flexural modulus ranging from 3,400 to 4,200 MPa (493,000 to 609,000 psi).
